Canyon Trails

A guard-gated all-ages GL Homes family community in Southwest Boynton Beach with 540 single-family homes, resort amenities, and very low HOA dues—an accessible family entry point, no golf.

Most buyers look at this community when they want newer construction with gated security and family-focused amenities. It works best if you value predictability and low-maintenance living. The tradeoff is HOA rules and less flexibility compared to non-HOA neighborhoods.

Canyon Trails: Accessible, Low-HOA Gated Family Living in SW Boynton

Most buyers look at Canyon Trails when they want a guard-gated GL Homes family community at an accessible price—with a remarkably low HOA.

This works best if you're a family relocating to West Boynton who wants newer-than-1990s construction, resort amenities, and space, with an entry in the low $500s and low monthly carrying costs.

The tradeoff is location. This is suburban SW Boynton (not walkable to downtown or beach). But for value and low HOA, it's one of the stronger family options.

Rachel's Perspective

Canyon Trails is one of my favorite answers for budget-aware families: newer than the 1990s West Boca communities, genuinely low HOA, and gated. The location is the tradeoff. If it's on your list, I'll pull current listings by size and compare it with Canyon Isles and Canyon Springs so you get the right home for your budget.
